Sliding competition

Requirements for participation:

• Minimum height: 130 cm
• Purchase of a valid slide ticket: 5,- Euro per ride

Procedure & rules:

• The slide race will take place every Friday from August 19 to October 3, 2025 from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm.
• Multiple slides with an additional valid ticket are permitted during the event period.
• No assistance (diving, pushing) by other persons is permitted at the start.
• Timekeeping is carried out exclusively by the measuring system provided by the slide operator RETO-Concept GmbH. Own time measurements are not recognized.
• Sliding is at your own risk.
• You may only slide individually. Sliding together (e.g. parents with children) is prohibited.
• Only the sliding aid provided may be used.
• Objects that could influence the time measurement may not be carried.
• The instructions of the supervisory staff must be followed.
• Participants under the influence of alcohol or drugs are excluded from the competition.
• The operator accepts no liability for damage to clothing caused by sliding.

Prize:

• The award ceremony and prize presentation will take place immediately after the slide competition.
• 1st place: Shortest slide time during the event wins a hot air balloon ride for 2 people. Second and third place winners receive small non-cash prizes.
• The prize can be redeemed in the 2025 and 2026 seasons and can be booked directly with the hot-air balloon company ECCO! Ballooning Michael Reinold Tel. +43 699 140 64 555 E-Mail: [email protected].
• The operator of the balloon rides can postpone or cancel dates free of charge.
• Cash redemption of the prize is not possible.
• Selling the prize is prohibited.

Liability:

• The organizer, Salzburger Burgen & Schlösser Betriebsführung and the slide operator RETO-Concept GmbH reserves the right to exclude participants from the slide race.
• The organizer is to be held harmless and indemnified.
