The Advent market at Fort Kniepass celebrates the overcoming of darkness and the new beginning of light with tradition and fire. Enjoy a varied daily program for young and old.

Experience traditional incense burning with precious incense and herbs, be enchanted by our small Advent market with its regional products on the fortification and enjoy delicacies from the Pinzgau region.

Opening times
The Advent market at Fort Kniepass takes place from Thursday, December 18 to Sunday, December 21, 2025, from 14:00 to 20:00. (Admission free)

Program points at a glance

On all opening days from 14:00 to 20:00

• Christmas walk (approx. 15 minutes) on the fortifications with a stopover in the "Teestube unter Sternen".
• Small, traditional Advent market in and around the Kniepass fortifications with exhibitors from the region.
• Our slide, VIPER-SLIDE - the longest slide in the Alps - is the best shortcut to our warm parlor, the Fort Kulinarik.
• Stop off and warm up at Fort Kulinarik with regional dishes, Christmas treats and a children's program (making straw stars, indoor playground).

• In our store you will find handmade and homemade products from the Pinzgau region - ideal Christmas presents for young and old.
