Saalachtal gourmet market

With the Saalachtaler Genussmarkt at Fort Kniepass, a new meeting place for regional products, genuine craftsmanship and culinary delights is being created in the Salzburger Saalachtal. Organized by the Salzburger Saalachtal Tourism Association in cooperation with Fort Kniepass, the market is celebrating its premiere this year - the opening is all about Easter and regional specialties.

On Saturday from 10:00 to 14:00, the forecourt of the visitor center at Fort Kniepass will be transformed into an atmospheric marketplace. Visitors can expect a diverse selection of regional foods, traditional delicacies, seasonal specialties as well as handmade Easter products and gift ideas from the Saalachtal.

Regional quality direct from the producers

The Saalachtaler Genussmarkt offers the opportunity to get to know and purchase regional products directly from the producers in the Saalachtal valley in Salzburg. The focus is on personal exchange, insights into production and the appreciation of regional quality.
