The Euregio Cultural Committee created a cross-border art project with children and young people from Seeon and Unken. As part of an exhibition on Walter Trier, they are creating plaster sculptures together with the sculptor Felix Igler. While the works in Seeon are created with pupils from Seeon elementary school, young people from oberrain anderskompetent are active at Fort Kniepass and create sculptures on site.

The vernissage on July 22, 2026 in Seeon Monastery will be followed by an exhibition at Fort Kniepass in the fall. This location in particular lends the project special significance: as a historical border point, Fort Kniepass symbolizes exchange, encounters and the creative overcoming of borders. The "Drent meets Herent" meeting also strengthens the cross-border dialog between tourism and politics.

Active participation in the workshops is not possible, but interested parties are welcome to come along and watch. You are cordially invited to the vernissages in Seeon Monastery and in Unken in the fall.
